A great URL shortener for small businesses and big alike. But be ready for a domain authorization process
I use Rebrandly to help create a more customized experience for my customers. When someone receives a document or a link with your domain on it, it feels more trustworthy and legitimate. Rebrandly was a great way to do that and can be done for free if you don't need very many links per month.

Good, simple service
Rebrandly is being used by Codecademy to teach people about how APIs work in Javascript and how to make XML requests to interact with the Rebrandly API. It is used in the Javascript course and is a good demonstration of how it works.

- The sign-up process is convenient.
- Compared to some other websites, Rebrandly's domain name is somewhat longer.

Make your business more efficient
We use Rebrandly in our campaigns via email and SMS. It is a superb product to create short URLs and get basic stats of the campaigns. It is also very easy to use and we love the Slack integration!

Great for creating branded shortcodes!
I use Rebrandly at my school to shorten links for sharing with teachers and parents. The ease of use allows for quick creation of shortcodes that are attractive and relevant to our school and that can be remembered and typed in easily. Shortcodes are often sent out in the newsletter to make it easier for parents to access content quickly. Rebrandly's API works fantastically and I have been able to share a Google Sheet with other teachers allowing for multiple users to create shortcodes using our school's domain.

Good but could be improved
We were interested in using an effective URL shortener that would support our brand in identifying blog posts and other types of uses. It would serve as the main ID for it so we could associate it with the constant influx of information that we output without being tied to a bulky URL.
